At work with daddy

It has been so nice to have Kurt home with me since he works from the house. Ashley loves visiting her daddy while he is working. These pictures also give you a good idea of how small Ashley is.

Our little girl

In her first week she did not open her eyes very much, but pretty much slept the entire day. It is so much fun to have her look at you.

Ashley's hair is quite amazing. It is pretty thick on the sides and back and thin on the top. Kurt likes to fluff it up and make her look like a clown, even though he does not like clowns.

Smile

Although this is not Ashley smiling on her own. She will give us a smile here and there. Usually it is when she is passing gas.

Strike a pose

This is one of our favorite pictures of Ashley striking a pose for the camera. She loves this position when she is waking up and stretching.

Going for a walk

Ashley loves her mommy and loves staying in the fetal position. I can put her in this wrap and she won't move for hours.

Pouty Face

Even though it is really sad to see Ashley cry, it is quite cute when she gives us her pouty face.

Ashley's nails are quite long and sharp and she loves keeping her hands up near her face, so daddy has to clip and file her nails often. That is why you see her in most pictures with mittens on. She likes to get those little fingers in her eyes too.

Homecoming

We left the hospital around 3pm on Sunday the 24th just shy of 24 hours after Ashley was born. Even though I brought the smallest clothes I had for her to wear home, they still didn't fit our little peanut. But she sure was cute!

Birth Day

This is the day that Ashley joined us in the world. The previous night I had gone to a wedding and Kurt was out playing poker with the boys. I went to bed at 10:30, Kurt went to bed at 12:30 and at 2:20am on the 23rd of June my water broke. To the hospital we went and at 4:13pm Ashley was born. Beautiful and healthy and crying out "ma ma"! She weighed in at 6lbs 6oz, was 18 inches long, and definitely has her daddy's hair!
