Ashley's First Tooth

Today I was feeding Ashley some bread and as I put my finger in her mouth I discovered her first tooth had come through!!!

Ashley loves her new basketball and who couldn't be more excited but Uncle Shawn! For Shawn's 28th b-day on thursday we did a photo shoot of Ashley with her basketball, PRO Club shirt, adidas shorts, and converse shoes!

Uh oh...continued

Look what happened tonight! After only crawling for 2 weeks she can now pull herself to a stand! I think she will be walking in a few more weeks. Almost every day this past week she has bonked her head pretty good, including her first bruise on her cheek by falling backwards while holding onto her pink chair and having it fall on top of her. Poor little girl.

Uh oh...our little stinker

Luckily I was in Ashley's room when she decided to pull herself to her knees on Sunday for the first time. She was leaning her arms over the railing on her crib...what a little stinker, she is growing up so quickly! I quickly had Kurt come in and lower her crib. Then I caught her tonight on her knees playing with the stereo.

"Mom, do I really need to eat my peas?"

Nick & Suzanne's Wedding

This weekend we spent Ashley's 8 month birthday in Semiahmoo (Blaine, WA) for Nick Thune & Suzanne Trudelle's wedding. It was a great time to hang out with friends, and it was a beautiful and very special wedding. Ashley thinks Nick is so funny!

Crawlin all around

Now that Ashley can crawl around we really have to keep our eyes on her. She loves to go towards things like cords, the vacume, pieces of dirt on the floor, and like this picture...crawl under chairs. What a silly girl!  Check out how fast she is on the below video.

I just got these 2 sweet chairs for Ashley. She thinks she is a big girl when she sits in them :)
