I guess when I was little I used to arch my back so I could not be held. Ashley does this sometimes too, but she often does this position just for fun. I think I will start her in gymnastics in the fall.
Ashley is just loving the stairs...we got a new gate for the bottom of the stairs however we need to get the attachment because she can make her way through the side.
Ashley loves the stairs; it is crazy how quickly she picked up climbing them. No falls yet, but I am sure that day will come. While she climbs she giggles and gasps for air because she is so excited.
We have had the privledge this past week to meet some new friends from Uganda that are visiting for the first time with the World Vision Experience Aids event that we have been hosting at Westminster. If you haven't already...make sure you visit the exhibit. Babirye (pictured left) is one of the children that you get to walk through the life of through an audio/visual tour.
Today Ashley had meat for the first time...turkey bacon from WholeFoods! Then she was so tired she just passed out on the floor! That has never happened before. I think it may have been all the partying on cinco de mayo.
My name is Ashley Mae Harris. My birthday is June 23. I live with my mommy (Rachel) and daddy (Kurt). I have the same middle name as both my great-grandma Harris and great-grandma Smith. I love to eat, sleep, dance, smile, take baths, go for walks, swing, blow bubbles, hang out with all the high school students, watch and grab my dancing bears in my crib, hang out with my dog cousins, and watch the puppy show OnDemand. If you like any of my pictures on this Blog you should be able to click on them and then right click "save as". Enjoy.
